It was great to see two Mosman Rowing Club members, Tara Rigney and Alexander McClean, compete in the World Cup III in Lucerne today. A very big congratulations to Tara who won bronze in the Women’s Open Single. Tara only got back into the boat late last year after taking a break following the 2024 Paris Olympics and taking on a full time job. Her coach, Alfie Young, has done a fantastic job tailoring Tara’s training program to fit in with her job before they left five weeks ago to compete internationally.
Lexi’s crew won the B final for Men’s Open Four. A great result for Lexi who recently completed a postgraduate degree at Cambridge and was then selected in the Australia A squad.
