Congratulations to Mosman’s successful members of the U19 ARTeam for 2021
I'll quote Matt here as he's said it all and done all the work with Judith and the boys. "I am pleased to announce that our entire quad has been selected for the 2021 U19 ARTeam to compete in the WC simulation regattas with the Olympic, U21 and U23 Teams. The crew convinced the selectors by clocking the qualification time in the grading race on Monday already. They then used our crew as a pace boat for 5 rotations over 1500m against a JM 8+ crew. Our boys also raced the singles to show their individual capability, which they have done and didn’t give the selectors any doubt to swap individuals out. The final speed order race this morning gave us the final tick of approval by the selectors. Australian Junior Rowing Team Selection
The whole crew of our 2019 Australian Champion U19M4 have been selected into the Australian Junior Rowing Team. Torben Ungemach and Nikolas Pender have been selected into the Australian Junior Men’s Coxless Four; whilst Nicholas Rath and Lexi McClean have been selected into the Australian Junior Men’s Coxed Four. Mosman Rowing Club’s Matthias Ungemach will take charge of the Junior Men’s Four, while the Junior Men’s Coxed Four will be coached by Judith Ungemach. Australia will send six crews to the World Rowing Junior Championships, to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 7 to 11 August 2019.
